 At the Spouter Inn, however, things are a bit more jovial.
Peter Coffin, the innkeeper, is introducing Ishamel to the crew
of the Pequod. Things take a turn for the worse, however, when
Ishmael learns he’s to lodge the night with Queequeg, their
cannibalistic crewmate who’s off selling shrunken heads. But
Queequeg turns out to be a good guy and he and Ishmael become
fast friends ("PRIMITIVE"). |
